Job Description

1) To forecast & plan daily, monthly and yearly plan of activities. Develop and execute purchasing strategies.

2) To plan and control development & cost control activities to reduce purchase cost.

3) To plan and control vendor visits / meetings.

4) Responsible for preparing cost estimation, negotiation and actualization of the vendor parts for responsible area.

5) Responsible for overall purchase cycle of all plant related purchase, industrial purchase, maintenance items purchase, it related purchases etc. within time line & cost budget including purchase requisition to payment suppliers.

6) Development of new vendors of Raw material, packaging's, maintenance materials, Lab Materials etc.

7)Prepare techno-commercial comparative statement and get it approved from management.

8) PO Generation and follow-up with supplier/ transporter for timely delivery of good / services.

9)Administration work like hotel booking, flight booking, event management etc.

10) Additional Responsibility -ISO documentation & Audit

11) MIS and Reporting

12) Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms

13) Forecast price, upcoming levels of demand, market trends and complete market data analysis to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power

14) Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
